Aprendizaje profesional docente en un diplomado en línea: motivación, estrategias y actividades formativas

Resumen

Este artículo analiza las experiencias de aprendizaje de docentes que participaron en un curso en línea de formación continua en México, con el objetivo de identificar los factores que favorecen el aprendizaje profesional en la modalidad virtual. Aunque esta modalidad ha cobrado relevancia en la formación docente, prevalecen desafíos como la deserción y una comprensión limitada del proceso de aprendizaje profesional en línea. Para profundizar en su entendimiento, se empleó un enfoque descriptivo con 168 docentes participantes y la aplicación de un cuestionario de 25 ítems para indagar sobre motivación, estrategias de aprendizaje y percepción de las actividades formativas. Los hallazgos revelan que dicho aprendizaje es un proceso complejo, determinado por la interacción entre factores personales, como la motivación y la autorregulación, y factores contextuales propios del entorno virtual, como el diseño de actividades y el acompañamiento. El estudio aporta evidencia sobre los procesos de aprendizaje y persistencia docente en entornos digitales, y ofrece orientaciones para diseñar programas de formación continua acordes con estas características.
