Malvinas en la reconfiguración geopolítica del Atlántico Sur pos-Brexit: infraestructura estratégica, logística imperial y geoeconomía offshore
Resumen
El artículo analiza la reconfiguración de la presencia británica en las islas Malvinas tras el Brexit mediante el estudio de los dispositivos militares, logísticos y geoeconómicos que sustentan la estrategia Global Britain en el Atlántico Sur. Desde un enfoque de geopolítica crítica, estudios de infraestructura y economía política internacional, examina cómo el archipiélago se configura como un ensamblaje sociotécnico que articula infraestructura estratégica, corredores logísticos, plataformas corporativas offshore y doctrinas contemporáneas de (in)seguritización, constituyéndose en un nodo de movilidad, vigilancia oceánica y proyección transregional. Asimismo, estudia el desarrollo del proyecto hidrocarburífero Sea Lion y su articulación con circuitos financieros transnacionales, mercados energéticos y redes corporativas con centro en Londres. El artículo sostiene que Malvinas se consolidó como un ensamblaje sociotécnico orientado a garantizar presencia estratégica, continuidad logística y valorización geoeconómica sobre corredores marítimos y espacios australes de creciente relevancia global. Además, plantea que la convergencia entre infraestructura estratégica, plataformas corporativas offshore, capacidades militares y doctrinas de (in)seguritización permite comprender modalidades contemporáneas de acumulación, proyección geopolítica y gobernanza oceánica durante la reconfiguración del orden internacional, incorporando la noción de Doctrina de Inseguridad Mundial como herramienta analítica.
